Join the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies for a free film screening of the classic “Mishima: a Life in Four Chapters” with talkback by IUC alumnus Alan Poul - Executive Producer of Tokyo Vice. Poul is known for Producing the hit HBO series Six Feet Under, and currently Executive Producer for the MAX series Tokyo Vice. He has received an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Producers Guild Award, three Peabody Awards and five GLAAD Awards, among others.
Poul got his start as an Associate Producer for Mishima, and will share his insights about filming in Japan at the IUC 60th Anniversary Symposium at Stanford on Saturday, October 7.
