Join us for the first session of the 2023-24 East Asian Humanities Workshop, sponsored by the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures. For this meeting, we have invited a group of library specialists, who will delve into the tools available at the East Asia Library. This first meeting will be held jointly with Professor Indra Levy and Professor Dafna Zur and their Proseminar class.

Please fill out this RSVP Form by Thursday, September 28th so that we can know whether or not you will attend, as well as your areas of interest. Depending on your responses, we will likely first convene together for a brief overview, then split up into different sessions for Chinese, Korean, and Japanese resources. You may still attend even if your Google form is submitted later than this date, but the information you provide will not be used in the decision regarding the structure of the meeting. Whether you are an advanced graduate student or just getting started, this workshop will be a great opportunity to address all of your questions regarding library resources.

Dr. Joshua Capitanio is Curator for East & Southeast Asian Studies and Religious Studies Collections, and Public Services Librarian at the Stanford East Asia Library.
