University Commencement Ceremony
 

8:45 am: Faculty meet at Sunken Diamond

9:30 am: Commencement procession into the Stadium begins

10:15 am: Commencement Ceremony begins

11:30 am: Commencement Ceremony concludes

12:30 pm: Departmental diploma ceremonies begin

CEAS + EALC Diploma Award Ceremony
11:30 am: University Commencement Ceremony concludes
After Commencement Ceremony ends please make your way to the CEAS + EALC Diploma Award Ceremony
Our ceremony is located at Littlefield Courtyard, located next to our building.

Food and refreshments will be available beginning at 11:30 am. You and your guests are welcome to grab a bite and settle down.

12:15 pm: If you haven’t already, please find me and check in.

12:20 pm: We will make an announcement for everyone to find their seats.
Graduating students will have designated seats near the stage. Please find your name and sit there.
Faculty members will have designated seats near the stage as well.
Family members will find seats in the audience.

12:30 pm: Diploma Award ceremony starts
This is the general outline of the ceremony:
Professor Ron Egan will make opening remarks
Keynote speech from guest speaker, Christine Chang.
Undergraduate class speaker
Undergraduate diploma awards
M.A. class speaker
CEAS M.A. diploma awards
EALC M.A. diploma awards 
Ph.D. class speaker
Ph.D. diploma awards and hooding 
Prof. Ron Egan will make closing remarks

Note:Please ask family members not to crowd the stage as EALC/CEAS staff members will be taking photos. They are more than welcome to take pictures from their seats, or behind us.

1:45 pm: The Diploma Award ceremony concludes
Immediately after all All graduate students please gather for group photo. EALC/CEAS staff will direct students where to go

There will still be food and refreshments available after the ceremony, and everyone should feel free to eat, drink, and mingle. Around 2:30-3:00 pm we will conclude our diploma award ceremony and begin clean-up.
